Terms of Use

ChurchTrades is operated by 15625181 Canada Inc., operating as ChurchTrades. By accessing or using ChurchTrades, users agree to these terms. ChurchTrades is intended only for adults age 18 and older. Anyone using ChurchTrades on behalf of an organization must have authority to act for that organization.

ChurchTrades currently supports the following features:

• Member profiles and church affiliation.
• Church discovery and joining church communities.
• Trade listings and services.
• Market listings.
• Community Donation item listings.
• Direct messaging and Church Community Chat.
• Blocking and safety reporting.
• Church administrator functionality.
• Sponsored listings.
• Monetary donations to participating churches.

Users are responsible for their accounts, profile information, and activity. Users must provide accurate information, keep account credentials secure, and use profiles and church affiliations truthfully and respectfully.

ChurchTrades has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Users must not harass, threaten, exploit, deceive, impersonate, spam, defraud, or post or send unlawful, abusive, or otherwise objectionable content. Users must not interfere with the service, misuse another person's information, or use ChurchTrades for unsafe or illegal activity.

Users can report content, accounts, or conduct through supported reporting features and can block other users through supported blocking features. Blocking limits interactions as provided by the app. A report does not automatically establish that a violation occurred.

ChurchTrades may review reports and may restrict or remove content, features, or accounts where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, or violations of these terms.

Church administrators can manage participation and church-specific community functions permitted by the app. Their authority is limited to the tools and church community functions ChurchTrades makes available to them and does not include globally suspending or terminating ChurchTrades accounts.

Church administrators may make independent decisions about their church communities. Administrator roles do not make ChurchTrades responsible for those independent decisions.

ChurchTrades helps users discover trades, services, goods, Market listings, and donated items. ChurchTrades is not the employer, contractor, seller, buyer, or guarantor of user-to-user services, listings, arrangements, or transactions.

Users are responsible for checking licences, qualifications, insurance, pricing, legality, safety, and suitability before hiring, providing services, buying, selling, donating, accepting an item, or meeting another user.

Community Donation item listings are user-to-user offers of goods or items. Monetary church donations are separate and may be processed for participating churches through the donation features provided by the app.

Sponsored listing purchases may be processed through supported payment systems, including Apple in-app purchase on iOS and Stripe-supported payment flows where applicable. Monetary church donations may be processed through Stripe for participating churches.

ChurchTrades does not store full payment-card numbers. Payment providers may apply their own terms and privacy practices. Applicable refund rules for sponsored advertising are described in the ChurchTrades Refund Policy.

Users retain responsibility for content they submit and must have the rights and permissions needed to upload, send, or share it. Users do not transfer ownership of their content to ChurchTrades.

By submitting content, users grant ChurchTrades a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, transmit, reproduce as needed, and moderate that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, protect, and operate the service.

ChurchTrades branding, software, design, and content supplied by ChurchTrades remain protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Users can permanently delete their ChurchTrades account through the app. ChurchTrades may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, fraud prevention, abuse, or violations of these terms.

The collection, use, sharing, protection, and retention of personal information through ChurchTrades are governed by the ChurchTrades Privacy Policy.

ChurchTrades may maintain, update, change, suspend, or discontinue features as operational needs and the service evolve. ChurchTrades does not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ChurchTrades is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. ChurchTrades does not guarantee the identity, qualifications, conduct, listings, goods, services, donation items, or outcomes of other users or church communities.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ChurchTrades is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use the service or from user-to-user interactions. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right, warranty, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

ChurchTrades may update these terms as the service or applicable requirements change. The Last updated date shows when these terms were most recently revised.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer protections or other rights that may apply in a user's jurisdiction.
