ChurchTrades is operated by 15625181 Canada Inc. The service is intended only for adults age 18 and older.

Depending on the features a user chooses to use, ChurchTrades collects and stores:

• Name, email address, optional phone number, and Firebase or other user identifiers.
• Approximate location, country, region, and city information used for community discovery.
• Church affiliation and Christian confession or denomination. Religious-affiliation information is sensitive personal information.
• Profile details such as occupation or trade, skills and services, about or profile information, and profile photos.
• Trade, Market, Donation, and other listings or user-generated content.
• Direct messages, Church Community Chat messages, and photos, videos, files, or documents sent or uploaded through supported features.
• Blocking choices, safety reports, and related moderation information.
• Purchase and transaction history needed for sponsored listings, Apple in-app purchases, Stripe payments, and church donations.
• Device or installation identifiers and push-notification tokens needed to deliver notifications.

ChurchTrades does not collect or store full payment-card numbers. Full card details are handled by Stripe or Apple. ChurchTrades does not claim to collect credit scores, health or fitness data, address book contacts, SMS or MMS messages, web browsing history, or lists of installed apps.

ChurchTrades uses information to create and maintain accounts and profiles; help users discover churches, communities, people, listings, and services; provide messaging, notifications, sponsored listings, purchases, payments, and donations; respond to support; operate and improve the service; and prevent fraud, abuse, and safety threats.

ChurchTrades does not sell personal information.

Some profile details, church affiliation, photos, listings, and other content can be visible to other signed-in ChurchTrades users according to the app's functionality. Users should not post information they do not want shared with the relevant ChurchTrades community or audience.

Direct messages are shared with their participants. Church Community Chat messages are shared with the applicable community. ChurchTrades may access, process, preserve, or disclose messages and related information when needed to operate messaging, investigate reports, enforce service rules, protect users, or comply with law.

Blocking is used to limit interactions as supported by the app. Reports may include the reported content, account information, and details supplied by the reporting user. ChurchTrades may retain limited safety and moderation records when necessary to document and address abuse, repeat violations, fraud, security concerns, or legal obligations.

ChurchTrades stores transaction information needed to provide and support sponsored listings, Apple in-app purchases, Stripe payments, and church donations. Stripe and Apple process full payment-card or billing details under their own privacy practices; ChurchTrades does not store full payment-card numbers.

ChurchTrades uses service providers to operate specific features. These include Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, databases, storage, and backend services; Expo push services, Apple Push Notification service (APNs), and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for notifications; Apple for sign-in and in-app purchases; Google for sign-in and maps; Stripe for payments and donations; and Vercel for the website and related hosting.

Church discovery and related information may use OpenStreetMap and Overpass, as well as Wikimedia and Wikidata. Information sent to a provider is limited to what is relevant to the feature, subject to that provider's own processing practices.

Information may also be disclosed when directed by a user, required by law, or reasonably necessary to protect users, ChurchTrades, or the public; investigate misuse; or enforce applicable agreements.

Users can permanently delete their ChurchTrades account through the app. Account information is deleted or anonymized where appropriate.

Limited records may be retained where justified for legal, security, fraud-prevention, payment, accounting, or moderation purposes.

ChurchTrades uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee perfect security, and users should avoid sending passwords or highly sensitive information by email.

ChurchTrades and its service providers may process or store information in Canada, the United States, and other countries where they operate. As a result, information may cross national borders and may be subject to the laws of those locations.

Users can update certain profile information and manage supported notification, blocking, and content choices in the app. Privacy questions or requests can be sent to support@churchtrades.com.

ChurchTrades may update this policy as the service develops. The Last updated date will show when the policy was most recently changed.
